Get more done in less time

Most people don’t struggle because they don’t want results. They struggle because they don’t have time.

Kids. Work. Travel. Life.

You look at the clock and think, “I’ve got 25 minutes. Is it even worth it?”

That’s exactly why I developed Time Frame Training.

Where it started

Years ago, I learned the concept of time under tension from Dr. Eric Serrano.

The idea is simple: The longer a muscle stays under controlled stress, the more stimulus you create.

That concept stuck with me. But instead of counting reps… I started counting time.

And that’s when Time Frame Training was born.

The concept

Instead of saying: “Do 4 sets of 12.”

You say: “Go hard for 3 minutes.”

You pick a medium weight. Set a clock. And perform as many quality reps as possible during that time window.

You’re not racing sloppy reps. You’re not resting endlessly. You’re working.

Example

Here’s a simple upper body flow:

  • Max Push-ups: 3 minutes
    Immediately into…

  • Max Dumbbell Bench Press: 4 minutes
    Immediately into…

  • Max Dumbbell Fly: 3 minutes

No wasted time. No phone scrolling. Just work.

In 10–15 minutes, your chest is smoked.

Why it works & how I use it

Time Frame Training works because it removes the space where people usually fall apart. There’s no overthinking. No endless rest. No drifting between sets.

You’re working against the clock, which forces intensity and keeps your rest honest. That urgency builds focus. And that focus builds results.

It improves conditioning, drives hypertrophy, and makes short sessions incredibly effective. Back when I was running my first studio, I’d condition clients hard for 20 minutes and then move them straight into 40 minutes of Time Frame work.

They got stronger. They got leaner. And they stayed mentally locked in because there was no room to coast. And when I only have 20–30 minutes myself? I still use it. No excuses.
