Habits Last When They Work
If you want to create habits that last, they need to work for you. Not just for a week or when motivation is high, but every day, even when life is busy.
Here’s how I think about habits:
I test a new habit for 30 days to see if it actually moves the needle.
If it helps me feel better, perform better, or live better, it stays.
If it doesn’t, I toss it. Simple as that.
Most people get stuck because they’re trying to force habits that don’t fit their lifestyle. Or they listen to other people’s opinions about what they “should” do. But if something is working for you, why would you stop because your friend or Instagram said it’s “wrong”?
Take Anabolic Fasting, for example. If you’re dropping body fat, feeling mentally sharper, and performing better in the gym, who cares if someone says “breakfast is the most important meal”? You’re living proof that it works for you.
Think of building habits like laying bricks for a house. Each habit is a brick. Done consistently, you build something solid that can handle life’s storms.
Practical Steps:
✅ Test habits before you commit long-term.
✅ Track how you feel and what changes you notice.
✅ Ignore opinions that don’t align with your goals.
✅ Don’t chase perfection; chase consistency.
✅ Build a system around what works for you.
If you want your habits to stick, make sure they’re moving your life forward. Results are the best motivation there is.
