Being the “best version” of yourself means something different to each and every one of us here at CoryG Fitness. It means something different to me, it means something different to you.
Take inventory
Taking inventory of this will help you define where you are in the process.
Are you working towards being a specific weight or looking a certain way? Are you working on a certain level of promotion? Are you working towards becoming financially free? Are you wanting to spend more time with your family? Are you wanting to get over something that happened in your past?
What does the best version of you look like?
Are you out of balance?
Most of us, if not all of us, can be out of balance sometimes. I’ll be the first one to raise my hand on this one. Is there a healthy balance of personal, family, and business when you’re an entrepreneur?
I would argue that it’s always somewhat out of balance. That being said, it’s hard to explain because your work and passion play a large part of your life. It’s completely mixed up. Now, should I be on Instagram for an extra hour instead of throwing the football with my kid? No, but is business always present? Absolutely.
It’s much different than the clock in, clock out mentality. My “normal” is much different from when I was an employee in my younger years.
Ask yourself…
Where are you comfortable? Are you trying to develop a better version of yourself? What are you doing well with, and what areas of your life need more work?
Sometimes I get so laser-focused with the task at hand that I lose track of this type of stuff. This is why it’s incredibly important to take inventory, especially if what I just explained is you.
It’s why I love this community. I can help you in the areas I excel in, and vice versa. That’s how we get better. You may have noticed that I haven’t mentioned anything about having more sales. These things only come if things are in line, things are smooth, and you do the things that are necessary.
